This afternoon we made Indians in Cupboards (that's a compound word by the way, cup board). We've started reading The Indian in the Cupboard (by Lynn Reid Banks) in class. All the 1/2 classes are reading it. Betty thought perhaps we could make our own cupboards. We used paper, pencils and.... our imaginations! We drew Indians and other things inside. They all look different but very cool:
My toy Yoda got out of the cupboard! Mitchell
My cupboard door is green! Romy
My Indian has a black belt and he's got long hair. Leila
My Indian has a bare chest and a sash. Lewis
My cupboard had droids and soldiers and.... an Indian with a campfire. Jordie
I did handles and a title on the cover. Aidan
I put a huge wind up cat on the bottom shelf and a girl iceskating on the top shelf and kittens near the Indian. Goldie
My door has a hook that you can put the key on. Charlotte
Mine has a TV, a DS, clothes and it has teddies. Amelia
I had a really light purple door. Audrey
