Hello, we're sad to say we have got bad news. Our pet yabby died on Wednesday, on ANZAC day. He died because before he came to our class, he had a fight with another yabby. He had so many legs missing and other injuries he couldn't grow them all back.
We made a grave for Yabstar the orchard and we buried him. We stood in a line in front of his grave and we put a handful of mulch and we each said something nice about Yabstar. Some of us said our words out loud and some of us spoke in our heads.
This recess a whole bunch of people visited Yabstar's grave and put flowers and stuff there for him. We have decorated his grave and it looks fantastic and quite glamorous!! We felt a bit sad about it for a little while but now we're just glad that we had Yabstar as a class pet.
