What do you do when the rain makes you cancel tree day? Hold it indoors, of course!
Thanks to the pouring rain, we couldn't go outside and plant as we'd planned so instead we brought out little plants into the classroom and hung out with them for a while. We learnt to look and to draw like botanists. We looked carefully at our plants, how their leaves grew, what colours their leaves and their stems were. We carefully signed our names, neatly in the corner like real artists. We hope you'll agree, the results were pretty stunning.
Here's hoping for fine weather this Friday so we can put our little green friends into the ground.
