| Every shop needs a float! |

Here in 1/2B we have been busy learning all about money! We've learnt what a float is. We've learnt how to make change.Today we set up our own spectacular shops around our room. We took turns to be shopkeepers and customers (on different days). We sold all sorts of things - books, tiles, lolly-pops, cushions, dry pasta, magnifying glasses, chocolate, homemade bubblegum, pencils, crayons and telescopes.
We practiced working out change. We used counting in tens charts to help us. It was interesting and super fun!! Next time we go to the shops, we can help our parents work out the change.
