A Day Full of Leprechauns
Hello and welcome to our blog!!
We are 1/2B at Bell Primary School in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We will be writing this blog to tell you about our work in the classroom.
Today we wore green. It was a special day - St Patrick's Day! This is a special day for Ireland. We made green apple, lime jelly. It tasted like sour apple and green icy pole, it was sweet (because of the sugar) and sour and yummy at the same time. It was cold and it tickled our tongues. It wobbled in our mouths. It was just right!!
We had a visit from a man called Nelius who grew up in Ireland and we learnt about Ireland. We heard the story of St Patrick and the snakes and we made our own Irish green snakes. We had an exciting, fabtabulous, GREEN day!!
